Jenny Beavan won the Best Costume Design award for the action film directed and produced by George Miller while Colin Gibson and Lisa Thompson lifted the trophy for Production Design and Set Decoration respectively under Best Production Team category. Lesley Vanderwalt, Elka Wardega and Damian Martin won the Oscar for Best Hair and Makeup Styling for the film.
