Actor Hrithik Roshan, often referred to as the "Greek God of Bollywood" by fans, once struggled with stammering. In a recent interview, the actor’s father, Rakesh Roshan, shared how he used to feel bad for his son, knowing that despite being highly intelligent, he held himself back due to his speech impediment. Once, I remember he was in Dubai, and he just wanted to say ‘Thank you, Dubai,’ but he used to get stuck on the letter ‘D.’ So, he locked himself in the bathroom to learn those two sentences by heart,” recalled Rakesh in an interview with ANI. “For oral tests at school, I used to bunk school, I used to fall sick, I used to break my hand, I used to get a sprain,” the Krrish actor had said. So, the childhood of a person suffering from a problem like this is pure hell you have to go through all those little moments of hell.” Now 51, Hrithik has successfully overcome stammering and continues to thrive in the Hindi film industry.
