Party MPs to bring pressure on pending issues during winter session of Parliament

Deccan Chronicle

Hyderabad: Stressing the need to quickly resolve the issues of AP Reorganisation Act, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday asked party MPs to focus on addressing the matter in the Winter Session of Parliament, which begins on Monday. The Chief Minister also focused on 12 demands for Telangana, including allotment of mines to Singareni Collieries Company Ltd without auction, setting up of Indian Institute of Management in Hyderabad and revival of ITIR-Hyderabad project, among others. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka have already met the Prime Minister and submitted a representation on these issues some months back. With the Telangana government launching the Indiramma housing scheme for the poor people, the Congress MPs will seek sanction of 25 lakh houses for Telangana in the ensuing phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
