WA Government concedes details of cheap airfare plan for regional WA still being negotiated

"We'll work out the details with the airlines, but the plan is to have capped fares for regional residents right across the state," Mr McGowan said. Northwest Tourism Marketing Executive Simon Penn said he welcomed the Government’s commitment to cheap fares for locals, but said he hoped more would be done to boost tourism in regional WA. "It's a commitment over the next term of Government; I can't predict what would happen beyond that," Mr McGowan said.
