Actor Mohanlal and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists recently came under the radar for their patriarchal attitude and for safeguarding actor Dileep, who is one of the accused in the actress abduction case. At the press conference, the actor made some shocking statements about the ongoing #MeToo movement. Calling the movement a short-lived fad, Mohanlal said, "There's no big problem in the Malayalam film industry. Acknowledging that sexual misconduct is common in workplaces, the Odiyan actor said that he doesn't know much about the #MeToo movement.
