IIT Madras collaborates with Samunnati Foundation to support Indian agritech startups
India TodayIIT Madras Incubation Cell has collaborated with Samunnati Foundation, a non-profit subsidiary of Samunnati Financial Intermediation and Services Private Ltd, to encourage innovative technologies in agriculture and allied areas in India. IIT IIM students taking part in entrepreneurship agriculture Sharing his views on the partnership, Anilkumar SG, Founder, and CEO, Samunnati said, “We as a country are witnessing a buoyancy in entrepreneurial energy, especially in agriculture. We are excited about this partnership with IIT Madras Incubation Cell, which has been the cradle for many deep tech and social startups that have scaled successfully. With IITMIC focusing on agriculture, we are confident that the eco-system will see a huge fillip to start-ups in agriculture.” Speaking on the outcome of this collaboration, Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, President, IIT Madras Incubation Cell and IIT Madras Research Park, said, “This partnership focusses on encouraging innovative technologies in agriculture and allied areas.
