
Thomas Kelly's one-punch attacker Kieren Loveridge sentenced to 12 months over prison assault

Loveridge told associates he spoke with Rymer first and then threw eight punches, but Judge Robert Sutherland said CCTV proved these were nothing more than "boastful conversations". Loveridge was originally sentenced to a minimum of five years and two months over Mr Kelly's death, but the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions appealed after community outcry.
