Universities in Delhi to impose stricter guidelines on campus to fight Covid-19
India TodaySeveral higher educational institutes in the national capital region such as Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University have plans of imposing stricter guidelines on campus to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus among the students and staff. While the DU issued guidelines on Saturday advising students to stay at home or their hostels and avoid physical presence for their academic work unless "very essential", the JNU on Sunday made it mandatory for all to wear masks at all times inside the campus. Covid-19 guidelines in JNU In a circular issued to the students and staff to control the spread of Covid-19, the JNU said face masks will be mandatory for students and employees across the campus, including at hostels, library, and administrative buildings and on the road. The JNU instructed faculty and staff members to use face masks at all times "to set an example" with regard to observing Covid-19 protocols.
