Telangana govt to issue fresh job notifications from January

Hyderabad: The state government is preparing to issue new job notifications beginning from next month after a delay caused by the Scheduled Castes sub-categorisation issue following the Supreme Court’s judgement on August 1 that allowed states to sub-classify SCs. Following the DSC recruitment, the state government will proceed with issuing other job notifications as per the annual job calendar, and ensure that the recruitment processes are completed by June. The calendar outlined 20 job notifications scheduled to be issued from September 2024 to June 2025, including recruitment for group-1, group-2 and group-3, health department, police recruitment, teacher eligibility tests and teaching positions in government colleges and universities. According to official sources, the government plans to issue its first notification in January after the judicial commission’s report is reviewed and a decision is made on implementing SC sub-categorisation.
