In a shocking incident, Neha Hiremath, daughter of Congress councillor of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation Niranjan Hiremath, was stabbed to death on the campus of her college in Hubballi on Thursday. Neha Hiremath was a first year MCA student at KLE Technological University and the youth who stabbed her multiple times on campus was her classmate. The assailant intercepted her on the university campus and stabbed her multiple times leaving her profusely bleeding on the ground as several students watched in shock. Demonstration Meanwhile, several students staged a demonstration in front of KLE Technological University under the aegis of ABVP seeking stringent punishment for the accused.
