Live LawWhile disposing a PIL filed by Congress Leader Ajay Makan, a two Judge Bench of Delhi High Court asked the Delhi Government to ensure that the grant-in-aid released is properly utilized by the Corporations for taking all the necessary measures for controlling and prevention of the dengue cases. But the Court held that " We do not wish to enter into the issue whether the petitioner is acting bona fide or not in approaching this court since we are satisfied that the cause sought to be espoused is in public interest and deserves to be taken cognizance under Article 226 of the Constitution of India".
