Man, 70, sentenced to seven years in prison for three explosion attacks in The Hague

NL Times

The court in The Hague has sentenced a 70-year-old man to seven years in prison for causing three explosions in The Hague’s city center. The man also confessed that he could be seen on camera during the attacks on June 10 and 13. The man denies his role in the explosion on June 12, but the court found him guilty of this, too, based on telephone data. Because the man cannot be held wholly accountable due to mental health issues and experts consider the risk of recurrence to be moderately high to high, the court also imposed a measure that will allow supervision if the man is released.
