UP Power Corporation Ltd chairman Ashish Kumar Goel directed officials to review electricity supply in the state, on Friday. In the history of the Power Corporation, the maximum electricity consumption was recorded at 590.6 MW on May 20, breaking the previous record. Similarly, the maximum demand for electricity set a new record of 28,336 MW on May 22, surpassing the previous year’s record of 28,284 MW on July 24, 2023.
