IT Department officials meet trade and industry representatives The Office of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Coimbatore conducted a stakeholders consultative meet in Coimbatore on Thursday. A press release from the Income Tax Department said Arun C. Bharat, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Coimbatore, and N. Rengaraj, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax – 1, Coimbatore, met tax payers and tax professionals from Coimbatore region and representatives from various professional trade bodies. Representatives of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association, the Coimbatore Jewellery Manufacturers Association, the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India, Auditor Associations of South India, the Confederation of Indian Industry, Tiruppur Exporters Association, and the Apparel Export Promotion Council gave their suggestions and feedback regarding taxpayer services and Income Tax related issues. Regional level dak adalat The Department of Posts will conduct a regional level dak adalat this month at the office of the postmaster general, western region, Tamil Nadu, KP Colony Post Office Campaus, Coimbatore - 641030.
