India Today

The suspended deputy general secretary of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Aadhav Arjuna, who was under fire for his recent controversial remarks accusing their ally, the DMK, of promoting “monarchy”, has now released a video on X revealing his close association with the DMK. Additionally, he co-published the book “Ambedkar, A Leader for All”, which was launched during an event where Arjuna made his remark about the “monarchy” still existing in Tamil Nadu politics. I truly believe that the base cadres know what work I did in the party and I shall continue to be their voice.” He also expressed his commitment to breaking the “monarch mentality” that he claims dominates Tamil Nadu politics. He also vowed to continue his fight against caste oppression, women's exploitation, threats to minorities, and oppressive political attitudes, saying, “No matter a thousand hands try to overshadow, the Sun can’t be hidden.”
