Ms de Lagarde was discharged from hospital last week and is now learning to walk again The wife and mother fell onto the tracks at High Barnet station on her commute home She said it took around 15 minutes for somebody to hear her cries and call the emergency services, who took her by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Ms Lagarde, from Camden, north London, was discharged from hospital last Friday and has now exceeded her £250,000 target to crowdfund for a sophisticated prosthetic arm. Ms de Lagarde told the Camden New Journal: 'All I remember is thinking to myself as I was lying in that dirty ditch in High Barnet that I did not climb Mount Kilimanjaro to die here in the cold wet gravel. Having reached her fundraising target within only 19 days, Ms de Lagarde has said that she will donate any excess proceeds to the London Air Ambulance and Barts Charity who supports staff at The Royal London Hospital.
