Revanth asks officials to speed up RRR works
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to speed up the work on Hyderabad Regional Ring Road by completing land acquisition in the next three months. The Centre has also agreed to bear 50 per cent of the land acquisition cost for the RRR and the remaining 50 per cent was to be borne by the state government. He drafted plans for industrial development in three clusters in the state, namely Urban Telangana, covering regions within ORR limits, semi-urban clusters between ORR and RRR and rural clusters outside RRR. The CM requested Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari to declare the southern part of RRR as national highway and draft an action plan for land acquisition to undertake this project.
