On January 5, the Prime Minister will spearhead a transformative initiative for Delhi, unveiling projects collectively valued at over Rs 12,200 crore. INAUGURATION OF NAMO BHARAT CORRIDOR A landmark in public transport, the Namo Bharat Corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar will be inaugurated, marking Delhi’s first venture into this advanced connectivity network. DRIVING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT The Rs 12,200 crore investment reflects a dual approach of fostering economic growth while emphasising sustainable and inclusive urban development. The Namo Bharat Corridor and Delhi Metro extensions are expected to create jobs during the construction phase and improve access to employment hubs, healthcare, and educational facilities for residents.
