Power struggle within BJP suggests it will change CMs in Delhi like last time: Yadav
Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav on Friday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party, which won 48 of the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, for not declaring the Chief Minister’s name even almost a week after the election results. “When the BJP came to power in Delhi for the first time nearly 32 years ago, the city saw three CMs over the five-year span. ‘Who is the LoP?’ Mr. Yadav also attacked the Aam Aadmi Party, which won 22 seats, for not declaring the name of the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly and blamed the delay on a similar “internal party tussle”. “The people of Delhi elected the BJP to power with an overwhelming majority, expecting good governance and hoping that the ‘double engine’ government will fix the woes of the Capital, left unaddressed by the Kejriwal government for over ten years,” he said.
