Shruti Haasan to turn script writer soon, after dabbling in singing and producing

Shruti Haasan will explore writing in the coming year, after trying her hand at production and singing. Now Haasan seems to be adding another feather to her cap by becoming a script writer and dabbling in the art of writing. So writing a film is something I will definitely explore this year,” said Shruti according to a report by Mumbai Mirror. Her father, Kamal Haasan — with whom she recently wrapped up shooting for Sabaash Naidu — reportedly gifted her a software for script writing along with a writing course, on her 29th birthday two years ago. Shruti recently walked out of Tamil historic film Sanghamitra, citing reason that she had not received a bound script or a proper schedule.
