Madhya Pradesh CM Announces Comprehensive Elephant Prevention Plan

ABP News

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced a comprehensive strategy to prevent elephant deaths and human-elephant conflicts in the state. The plan includes the establishment of an elephant task force, implementation of radio tracking, and development of a long-term plan based on best practices from other states. The task force will work to safely accommodate elephants from other states, while radio tracking will be used to monitor lone elephants that do not move in herds. Multiple measures are being explored to prevent future incidents of elephant deaths and human conflicts, including the installation of solar fencing around agriculture farms and the deployment of radio tracking for lone elephants.
