Hyderabad: Police arrested one Mohd. Syed has been sent to judicial remand for allegedly obstructing a home guard from doing his duties, Panjagutta police said. According to west zone DCP Vijay Kumar, two officers from the Panjagutta traffic police had conducted a special drive against wrong-side driving and black film glasses on the windows of cars. When this vehicle was found with a black frame, SI Anjaneyulu and home guard Ramesh, who were conducting the checks at Panjagutta junction, tried to stop the vehicle. All that we noticed was just that black film and so tried to catch hold of him.” Eyewitness SI Anjaneyulu said, “The home guard is safe.
