What’s next for Michigan? Replacing J.J. McCarthy, Jim Harbaugh’s future and more thoughts
New York TimesANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan and its fans waited 26 years for a victory parade. Thousands of fans lined the freshly plowed streets of Ann Arbor on Saturday to celebrate Michigan’s national championship. It was the clip of Corum in the same arena, delivering the following message to Michigan fans: “All I’ve got to say is, we’re going to run it back, we’re going to win a national championship and we’re going to win a national championship.” There was no “run it back” moment Saturday night. Champions Circle launched a “Those Who Stay” campaign before the national championship game and had QR codes on the video board to solicit donations during Saturday’s celebration. Being behind the scenes for a national championship run is quite an introduction to college football for a player who’s seen as Michigan’s quarterback of the future.
