MP polls: Govt accepts resignation of dalit officer, likely to contest on Cong ticket
Deccan ChronicleBhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government late on Monday evening accepted the resignation of Nisha Bangre who was posted as deputy collector in Betul district in the state. But, the decision to accept her resignation had been held back by the state government due to some ‘procedural issues’. Ms Bangre was given a show cause notice by the state government around four months back for inviting some foreigners to an event in Betul without taking permission from authorities concerned. Ms Bangre had moved the high court and then the supreme court seeking a directive to the state government to accept her resignation following the delay in acceptance of her resignation.
