Tickets for Qutub Minar, Lal Quila, other monuments available on Delhi Metro app
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Archaeological Survey of India. This collaboration introduces a seamless ticketing system, allowing travelers to purchase metro passes and entry tickets for iconic ASI-conserved monuments such as Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lal Quila, and Purana Qila through DMRC's Momentum 2.0 Delhi Sarthi mobile application. "This collaboration will facilitate easy and convenient access for tourists and the general public through a unified ticketing solution covering metro travel and monument entry," the DMRC said in a post on X. The partnership also aims to promote Delhi's cultural heritage by launching coordinated campaigns, organising events, and leveraging digital platforms to highlight the architectural and historical significance of these monuments. ASI signages and standees will be installed at designated metro stations, offering travellers historical insights and encouraging them to explore Delhi's rich heritage.
