Revanth Returns After Delhi Visit, Cabinet Expansion Likely

Revanth Reddy returned to the city on Saturday after a six-day visit to Delhi, the duration of the visit triggering speculation in party circles that he was likely to undertake a partial expansion of his Cabinet in the first week of July. Party sources said that the party high command permitted Reddy to undertake partial expansion of the cabinet in the first week of July and assured him that it would find his replacement as TPCC chief by around that time. Sources said that the high command has decided to keep two cabinet berths vacant to accommodate leaders from GHMC limits where the party failed to win a single Assembly seat. For that reason, the party high command has asked Reddy to keep two cabinet berths vacant, sources added. For cabinet berths, Makthal MLA Vakiti Srihari from BC Mudiraj community, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, Peddapalli MLA G. Vivekanand, Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar, Bodhan MLA P. Sudarshan Reddy, Mancherial MLA K. Prem Sagar Rao, Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy, Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy and Parigi MLA T. Ram Mohan Reddy are in the race.
