Pixel 3, Pixel 3a to get Pixel 4's Live Caption and advanced Night Sight features

Google launched Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones earlier this week. Google said that Pixel 4's advanced Night Sight mode will be available on last year's Pixel 3 and this year's budget Pixel 3a smartphones later this year. Pixel 3 and 3a will also get a version of this capability with the latest camera app update," the Mountain View, California based tech giant wrote in a blog post confirming the news. While Google computational prowess is second to none and a lot of the improvments coming to the Night Sight are software based, Pixel 4's additional camera lens does play an important part in helping it capture depth and detail in low light conditions. Google representatives told the folks at Android Police that the Live Caption feature is exactly exclusive to Pixel 4 smartphones and that the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3a phones will be getting this feature within two months, that is, by the end of December.
