Move to charge fee for corrections in II PUC mark sheet opposed
The HinduThe Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board has imposed a fee of ₹1,600 for correcting the names of students and parents, the date of birth, and other details in the II PU marksheet, which has been met with strong opposition from students, parents, and student organisations. The KSEAB has decided to issue revised and printed copies after correcting the errors in the marksheet, and has issued an order charging a fee for this process. However, now the KSEAB has decided to provide revised printed marksheet after correcting all the errors to the candidates as ‘corrected copies’, and has issued an order charging a fee for these marksheets. The All-India Democratic Students’ Organisation, a student organisation, has opposed the KSEAB’s move of charging for the correction of II PU marksheet.
