Dr Sanjiv Rajadhyaksha, medical director, Wiggles tells us 10 symptoms that are signs of possible cancer in pets and if caught early, can save their precious life. Odour– Pets don’t always smell pleasant, but if there is a long-lasting odour in the body even after a bath, it’s a sign to call the vet. Unusual weight loss– If your pet is experiencing a weight change even without any change in diet or exercise, it may be an early sign of cancer. Excessive thirst and urination/defecation– If your pet is consuming excessive water or peeing frequently, this may be a sign of tumor-forming inside the body.
