An inquest will be held next year into the death of Raghe Mohamed Abdi, who was shot by police on the Logan Motorway following a "terrorism event". At the time, police said 22-year-old Mr Abdi was "directly linked" to the alleged double murder and had been investigated by counter-terrorism police. In a short pre-coronal inquest conference at the Southport Magistrates Court, counsel assisting the coroner Rhiannon Helsen said there had been "significant progress" made in collecting evidence but the autopsy reports were not yet completed.
