David Fincher has confirmed that the second season of his crime drama will be available to stream on Netflix from next month – specifically, 16 August. Anna Torv stars in the series alongside Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany who play FBI agents inspired by real-life criminal profilers. Son of Sam – real name David Richard Berkowitz – pleaded guilty to eight separate shooting attacks that began in New York City during the summer of 1976. The show earned rave reviews upon release with viewers heaping praise upon Cameron Britton for his portrayal of the murderer and necrophiliac Edmund Kemper.
