Making history: Dolphins get a glimpse of the future with three rookie O-linemen

Several years from now, when NFL fans, analysts and pundits look back at the Miami Dolphins’ 2020 draft class, a majority of the perception and grade will be based on how successful Tua Tagovailoa becomes and whether he develops into a franchise quarterback. Miami also got a glimpse into the future of what the front office hopes to be Tagovailoa’s main protection for many years: Jackson at left tackle, Kindley at right guard and Hunt at right tackle. “It’s always nice to have — you need position versatility really across the board and specifically at the offensive line,” Flores said. “I think have really brought some leadership and good play to our offensive line and really helped these young guys along,” Flores said. I think they’ve definitely taken the steps they needed to do as rookies to progress and protect Tua back there and become a great O-line for us.” It’ll be another busy weekend for the offensive line as the Dolphins prepare to host the Chiefs.
