The cold wave in Noida has intensified, prompting the District Magistrate to order the closure of all schools for classes up to 8th grade across all boards. District Basic Education officer Rahul Panwar has issued a letter to the principals of all the schools in Noida. In the letter, Panwar cites District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, saying that the cold has been intensifying continuously for the last few days. A cold spell has settled over Noida, with temperatures hovering between 8 and 17 degrees on Thursday, according to the India Meteorological Department.
