Will pull AP out of debt: Naidu

KAKINADA: Telugu Desam chief and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has promised that he will not raise power tariff after Telugu Desam, Bharatiya Janata Party and Jana Sena alliance comes to power in Andhra Pradesh. “The present Chief Minister had hiked power tariff nine times in the past five years,” Chandrababu Naidu told people on Thursday evening while on his Prajagalam Yatra traversing Kovvuru and Gopalapuram assembly segments in East Godavari district. “I will focus on wealth generation as well as welfare,” the former CM assured, while accusing Jagan Mohan Reddy of completely neglecting infrastructure and roads in Andhra Pradesh. Naidu assured that he will pull Andhra Pradesh out of the debt trap, create employment opportunities for youth and make available quality liquor at reasonable prices.
