Ms O'Donnell said her organisation was incredibly busy, fielding calls from parents about "how to deal with their children … because the kids also feel that anxiety that the parents are feeling". "We're getting calls from people who are all of a sudden finding themselves out of work and just families struggling to make ends meet," she said. "It's completely understandable that as additional financial and personal stress builds, some of us might find ourselves — perhaps for the first time — worried we're going to hurt someone that we love," Ms Yates said.
