Hyderabad: Hyderabad will achieve a major feat this year by adding 17 million square feet of Grade A/A+ office space, marking the fastest infusion ever in a single year. However, primary sales performance in the Hyderabad market for the last quarter showed a decline, with the value of units sold decreasing by nine per cent compared to Q4 2023. Abhishek Kiran Gupta, CEO and co-founder of CRE Matrix, said that in 2024, Hyderabad recorded new home sales of `1.15 lakh crore, contributing approximately 20 per cent of the total share among all metro cities in India—surpassing even Mumbai, which stood at `1.05 lakh crore. “Hyderabad leased 13 million square feet of Grade A office space in 2024, accounting for 17 per cent of the total annual leasing of Grade A offices across India. Discussing commercial real estate, he added that Hyderabad's commercial real estate market remains on a strong growth trajectory, with a 2.2x increase in large office transactions and a 26 per cent surge in coworking demand.
