ICC to meet on Thursday to decide future course of action
The HinduThe chief executives’ council of the International Cricket Council will meet via video-conferencing on Thursday to discuss the reworking of the World Test Championship and the ICC Men’s Cricket Super League as well as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Australia later this year, in light of the coronavirus pandemic that has brought sports to a standstill globally. READ| The CEC will discuss the approach to rescheduling postponed series and the need for collectively reviewing the Future Tour Programme through to 2023 as well as the World Test Championship and Cricket World Cup Super League. It will also receive an update on the continuing contingency planning for all ICC global events, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020.
