What Is Amazon India’s I Have Space Program?
Amazon India is transforming the way we shop with fast, reliable and safe deliveries, and in turn also earning opportunities that empower individuals both personally and professionally. To creating opportunities for small mom-and-pop kirana stores, back in 2015 Amazon India launched a flagship program called ‘I Have Space’. Under the IHS program, Amazon India has been able to celebrate and support thousands of micro entrepreneurs and shop owners across 350 cities and towns in India. Under this program, Amazon India partners with local entrepreneurs and business owners to deliver products to customers within a distance of 2 to 4 kilometers radius of their store, and these stores also operate as pick up points for customers to collect their package.
