UPI transaction count drops in April: Details here

UPI transaction count drops in April: Details here Recent data released by the National Payments Corporation of India suggests a drop in UPI transaction count in April. However, as per a recent report by the National Payments Corporation of India, the number of Unified Payments Interface transactions fell by 1 percent to 1,330 crore in April, down from 1,344 crore seen in March. According to data from the National Payments Corporation of India, the transaction volume in April was Rs 19.64 lakh crore, down from Rs 19.78 lakh crore in March. In 2023, the number of UPI transactions increased by almost 60 percent to a record 11,768 crore, while the total value of UPI transactions grew by over 40 percent to Rs 182.84 lakh crore.
