Slain Bangladeshi MP Anwarul Azim Anar had ties with TMC and was involved in illicit activities

Even after going into hiding in India, Anar continued arms smuggling with government-recognized top terrorist Prakash Kumar Biswas, who has been living in West Bengal since 2013. Commenting on Anwarul Azim Anar’s connections in West Bengal, a highly-placed source seeking anonymity said, for years Anar has been maintaining healthy relations with several female leaders of Trinamool Congress, some of whom are actresses from Kolkata film industry. Political war of words Ruling BJP has accused the state government of hiding a “can of worms” and taken this opportunity to criticize a high-profile opposition figure, West Bengal’s chief minister Mamata Banerjee.
