Centre to send team to review midday meal scheme implementation in West Bengal BJP's Suvendu Adhikari had written a letter to Pradhan on January 5 urging him to send a central audit team to probe the alleged misappropriation of midday meal funds. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday that the Centre will soon despatch a team to review the implementation of the midday meal scheme in different parts of West Bengal. Asked about the recent claim by Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee that many BJP MLAs had been in touch with him, Pradhan said "TMC is making such claims as it understands BJP has become the first choice among the people of West Bengal.
