Police look for driver who critically injured a child in Albury hit-and-run

ABC

A four-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being hit by a vehicle that later fled the scene in southern New South Wales on Friday morning. Police said paramedics treated the boy for a head injury after he was struck on Dick Road in Lavington, a suburb of Albury, at about 7am. Murray River Police District Chief Inspector Scott Russell said police were eager to hear from the driver of a white Holden Commodore with black rims. Chief inspector Scott Russell has urged the driver involved in a hit-and-run to come forward. The Holden was last seen travelling south on Dick Road and police have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage or CCTV to call local police or CrimeStoppers.
