Delay in Road Repairs at Lal Darwaza Causing Difficulties to Commuters

Deccan Chronicle

Hyderabad: In response to a plea by the Lal Darwaza Simhavahini Mahankali temple committee, GHMC started work on reducing the height of the road leading to the temple, ostensibly for vaastu reasons. Due to Vaastu factors, we requested GHMC to decrease the height of the road,” said the temple chairman Rajendar Yadav. Meanwhile, the civic body’s executive engineer said "The work involves laying a 200-metre long VDCC road. The delay has been due to repairs of the damaged sewerage pipes being carried out by HMWS&SB.” He said that the entire work is expected to be completed within a week."
