But the verbal ability and reading comprehension section tests you on how well you can understand and analyse the information that is given to you in the form of passages, paragraphs or jumbled sentences. MISTAKES TO AVOID WHILE PREPARING FOR THE QA SECTION It is a common misconception that CAT is a math-heavy paper and that non-engineers will find it very difficult to score well in the exam. Anxiety about more abstruse topics like permutations and combinations, probability, and numbers prevent test-takers from scoring well in questions based on the aforementioned simpler topics.
