Security companies using drones to protect vital infrastructure

Security company Bauwatch is set to introduce drones to monitor construction sites and other areas, partnering with Katwijk-based Drone Flight Company, Het Financieele Dagblad reports. Boerkamp said around 15 organizations, including universities, rail operators, and critical infrastructure managers, have expressed interest in the pilot program. The company’s collaboration with Drone Flight Company involves specialized training for drone pilots and managing licensing requirements. Drone Flight Company, which caters to corporate clients, counts organizations such as NS, the Ministry of Defense, the Inspectorate for the Environment and Transport, and construction giant BAM among its customers.
