French artists' work on display in Asia for first time

Currently at the Liuli China Museum in Shanghai, the exhibition Flying Eyes features 46 works of art from 14 French artists selected from the permanent collection of Galerie Capazza, an important institution of contemporary art and culture in France. This is the first large showcase of the French institution in China, according to Laura Capazza-Durand, director of Galerie Capazza. One of the most important artists on exhibition is the French sculpture artist Georges Jeanclos, whose creations have been collected by eminent museums around the world. It was founded by Gerard and Sophie Capazza more than 40 years ago, and showcases more than 80 artists’ creations of a wide range of media and styles in a space of 2,000 square meters.
