Tripura captain Bishal Ghosh, who scored a double-century in the season opener against Services last month, has been left out of the team’s ongoing Ranji Trophy fixture against Haryana amid controversial circumstances. Ghosh, 22, said he pulled out of the team after sustaining a shoulder injury in a bike accident in Agartala on the eve of the match, but the official word differed from his version. Justice AB Paul, the administrator for the Tripura Cricket Association, told Sportstar on Friday that Ghosh was left out after a complaint was filed with the police against him on Wednesday for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman.
