Glamorgan fires head coach Grant Bradburn for inappropriate behaviour

The Hindu

Glamorgan has fired head coach Grant Bradburn following a charge of misconduct, the English Cricket County Club announced on Monday. “Having completed our own internal investigation, it became clear that Mr Bradburn’s position was untenable, and the club is now providing the appropriate support to those affected.” The 58-year-old Bradburn, who played international cricket for New Zealand, had signed a three-year deal at the Welsh county side in January this year. He had previously held senior roles with the Pakistan Cricket Board since 2018 and was appointed Pakistan’s head coach last year, but the PCB changed the national team’s coaching setup following its failure to reach the semifinals at the ODI World Cup in India. According to BBC, the Kiwi said “After a very positive and successful first year at Glamorgan County Cricket Club, I’m extremely disappointed with the process I’ve been subject to in recent weeks and am now seeking legal advice,” said Bradburn.
