Giants’ Malik Nabers ruled out for second consecutive game

By Lauren Smith, Charlotte Carroll and Jake Ciely New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has been ruled out for the team’s “Sunday Night Football” meeting with the Bengals at MetLife Stadium, coach Brian Daboll said Friday. This is the second consecutive game the Giants will be without Nabers after he missed New York’s 29-20 win over the Seahawks in Seattle in Week 5. Nabers remained in concussion protocol last week following the injury late in the fourth quarter of the Giants’ 20-15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4. Nabers led the Giants in receiving in each of his first four NFL games, and is still New York’s leading receiver so far this season with 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns.
