HBO showed a practice where the offense won — there hasn’t been many of those yet — and Wilson walked around the field, yelling at his defensive teammates: “How the grass taste?” Then, HBO cleverly transitioned from Wilson to Gardner by highlighting their matchups in practice, Offensive Rookie of the Year versus Defensive Rookie of the Year. The cameras didn’t follow Wilson home or anything, but Wilson did sit down for an interview with producers where he admitted that “things felt like they were getting worse each week” during last season’s struggles.
